Artist Bakr Alhashemi is an Iraqi artist, writer, composer and sound engineer who lives in Iraq. Born in 1995 in the city of Baghdad, he studied engineering at the University of Baghdad, graduated in 2017 and later on began his artistic career in 2019.  He started his first job as an audio engineer with the Gulf artist Fahd Shannin, also known as Yamdi. It was published on the YouTube website on the official Solo FM channel, and the work achieved and crossed the humungous number of one million views on YouTube. 

He excelled in various musical fields and has several works that exceeded one million views on the YouTube platform. Bakr Al-hashemi has produced several songs which includes “No to get used to”, We book the best trip” and a theme song. He has collaborated with Iraqi YouTuber, Jeddo Al-Shayeb, and is set to upgrade his skills by producing more mind-blowing songs.

Bakr Al- Hashemi believes that Arab and Iraqi music is still an unexplored avenue for the world. Bakr Al-hashemi, the sound engineer turned singer has promised to create a masterpiece which would describe his life efforts and struggles.

The artist Bakr Al-hashemi, is a 27-year-old native Iraqi singer. And just like most of the successful musicians and singers, he first took time to explore himself as a singer, and after a life long struggle with music and sound rooms he finally released his first ever artistic piece in 2019.

Thanks to the fast connectivity these days, we were able to explore him within this short period of three years. He is not only the song composer but also the writer of his songs. Bakr Alhashemi’s achievements

Then after a while he also joined famous singers like Essam Sarham for “The voice” then for the Arab Idol eventually. Some famous songs carrying his work are the “tricks and Washini” by Hamdan Al-Balushi, then “Yamdi” for Fahad Shaneen, similarly, “Mako opportunities” is also one of his famous works.

One of the significant breakthroughs in his career was when he secured second position with Turki Abdul Aziz for the 91st Arab national day competition. This was when he got a major public recognition. Their work earned the second position in the competition within the activities of the General and the Flex Entertainment Authority. Their work was entitled “Suns of Glory”

After a while he then started his proper and full-fledged music career with Q media in Baghdad. He has also done his collaborated with the artist Hassan Najm for a music piece entitled “This Witch”
