Trusted MumeeMagic blogger Sandy Harrison has revealed the top 11 cheapest Nerf guns on the market in a bid to help parents please their youngsters and not break the bank.

Moms and dads with children aged eight and upwards will no doubt have been nagged to add a Nerf gun to their toy collection, but there are so many models and some are pricey that Sandy wanted to search and find the best NERF guns for under $50.

Sandy said: “Children are mad on NERF guns right now and there are so many out there, it is difficult to know which one is the best. It does depend on a child’s age as to which gun will work for them. If you are dealing with teenagers, it is probably best to ask them which model they are dreaming of, as they will have no doubt done the research and had conversations with their friends and have their minds set on a particular one.

“But these toys can be quite pricey and there are some design faults with many of them. I decided to hunt out the best ones under $50. None of the Nerf gun models are perfect, but hopefully this insight will help,” she added.

Here are five of MumeeMagic’s top 11 NERF guns under $30:

1. Nerf N-Strike Elite Disruptor

This is a great entry level toy for younger kids who want something big and bulky to show off to their friends and that doesn’t have lots of problems with the darts jamming in the system. You can get this for around $18 online.

2. NERF Rival Roundhouse XX-1500 Red Blaster

This is probably an upgrade from the NERF above for kids who are a little older – mainly due to the fact that it is a more sophisticated looking design and color, it needs a little more strength to be able to fire the rounds without it getting jammed and there the capacity for 15 darts. The kids will definitelythink they have a better model in their hands. This is around $25 online.

3. NERF Ultra Two Motorized Blaster

This is classed an ultra-gun because it can fire up to 120 feet. It is perfect for kids who want to play in a bigger area, but the bullets can break more easily than others so it would be wise to stock up on spares. This $25 online.

4. NERF N-Strike Elite AccuStrike Series FalconFire

This is what is known in the NERF world as an elite model. It has a sleek design and storage for darts. The look alone goes down well with the kids as they show it off to their friends. This is $24 online.

5. NERF Zombie Strike Alternator Blaster

The AccuStrike might be a little slow for some children who might be a little less focused on precision. If so, this might be a good alternative and the design is wacky. It allows the kids to make single, double or triple shots in their zombie apocalypse battle. This is $15 online.
